E18S-3
16-1/2" diameter by 18" high (2.5 cubic feet). 3" K23 brick.

- Two firing zones
- Requires a 30 amp circuit on 240 volt, single phase (household) electrical service. Available in all electrical service configurations.

This is a great little kiln if you make small pieces, or need a smaller second kiln for getting out special orders and small batches. If you make plates, serving bowls, or other wide pieces, I recommend getting the e23S-3 instead.

This kiln is great for small pieces. It has a little more volume than the
E18S-3, but is still short enough that most people won't have any trouble reaching to the bottom. The short middle section is powered.

E23S-3

22-3/8" diameter by 18" high (4.4 cubic feet). 3" K23 brick.

This is a very popular kiln for hobbyists who do make a lot of work, but need space for wider pieces. It easily fits plates, platters, and serving bowls, but isn't so large that it take a long time to fill.

E23T-3

22-3/8" diameter by 27" high (6.7 cubic feet). 3" K23 brick.

This kiln has been the most popular size kiln sold in the US for many years. It's the perfect size for hobbyists who produce a lot of work, as well as for schools and production potters who need a mid-size kiln to handle overflow from their large kilns.

E28S-3

28" diameter by 18" high (6.8 cubic feet). 3" K23 brick.

This model is quickly becoming one the most popular sizes on the market today. It's the same volume as the e23T-3, but it's shorter and wider. If you have trouble reaching into the bottom of a 27" tall kiln, the e28S-3 is a great option for good volume without height.

E28M-3

28" diameter by 22.5" high (8.5 cubic feet). 3" K23 brick.

This is a good option if you're considering an e28T-3 but have single phase electrical service. It's slightly shorter, so the max temperature rating is higher than the e28T-3, which means you'll get longer element life. The shorter height is also good if you have trouble reaching into the bottom of a 27" tall kiln.

E28T-3

28" diameter by 27" high (10.2 cubic feet). 3" K23 brick.

The largest of the Easy Fire models, this kiln is great for artists who need a large kiln, but still want the easy maintenance of a top-loading round kiln. If you have single phase electrical service and need to fire to cone 5 or above, I highly recommend getting the eQ2827-3 instead, which has more power to handle those higher temperatures.

Accessories and upgrades

Vent-Sure Downdraft Kiln Vent
In addition to keeping you from breathing the fumes that come out of your clay and glazes during firings, the Vent-Sure automatic kiln vent helps prevent corrosion on the inside and outside of your kiln, and ensures that you get the longest possible life from your elements and electrical components.

Quad Element Option

The combination of large 1/2" diameter element coils (most non-L&L elements are only 1/3" in diameter), the doubled surface area of the Quad element design, and the superior heat transfer of L&L's patented ceramic element holders, make this the best element system in the world today. I strongly recommend getting this upgrade if you're glaze firing to cone 5 or higher. It will pay for itself in longer element life.

Price varies depending on kiln model. See HERE for more information.
